Service focus on migrating / converting systems to reduce maintenance & development costs, reduce risks and streamline services. First four months as contractor.
    • Managed enterprise project to migrate 70+ applications from legacy LDAP services to enterprise standard LDAP directory servers and services, involving coordination and management of 20 application teams and 8 infrastructure services. Awarded 2005 Bank of America Spirit Award of Excellence - reserved for top 1% performers at Bank of America.
    • Managed implementation of contingency infrastructure to support disaster recovery of critical applications hosted in J2EE Application Server environment (WebLogic, Oracle, Actuate, & Autosys), including management of first complete disaster recovery exercise.
    • Lead representative for department in enterprise Linux Center of Excellence and early advocate for Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) at Bank of America.
    • Managed design and development of single sign-on LDAP authentication component for use in 40+ J2EE applications.
    • Managed migration of infrastructure support applications to departmental Linux server used to pilot and prototype Open Source solutions for rapid application development.
    • Managed rehost of profitability reporting applications from Perl/CGI on Apache to J2EE Application Servers (WebLogic) and from Sybase to Oracle.
    • Proactively managed, designed and developed auditing components for tracking application and feature adoption by our business partners. Shared design and results with Architecture workgroup for standardizing auditing in the department.
